PT-60 3516, Gelişmiş modern modüler tasarım ile PT-60 3516, 20Gbps back plane veri kapsitesine sahiptir. Her türlü modern iletişim talebini karşılamak için en esnek hizmet kombinasyonunu sunma yeteneğine sahiptir. Yedekli CPU (controller), yedekli Power, hotswap özelliği ile çalışırken değiştirilebilen arayüz kartlarına sahip cihazdır. Bu özelliği ile çok güvenli bir erişim sağlar. Hatta bu özellikler sayedinde core networklerde dahi kullanılabilir.
PT-60 3516, çok yönlü ve harika yeteneği ile, SDH switch, TDMoIP switch, Dijital Cros-connection switch, IPPBX gibi ve hatta hepsi beraber olarak da yapılandırılabilir ve ayrıca tüm bu kanallar arasında cross-connetin ve sinyal dönüşümü sağlar.
